Although the winter season is over and the restaurant is closed from May through September, accommodation at Skigaarden is available year-round. Here, you can combine active days in the mountains with peaceful evenings and comfortable lodging in our apartments.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing mountain walk, an active day on the bike, or simply wish to enjoy the views and tranquillity, Skigaarden is the perfect base for exploring Hemsedal during summer and autumn.

Work Efficiently from the Mountains

Need to combine your stay with a few productive work sessions? On the ground floor of the main building, you'll find our mountain office – a comfortable workspace with coffee, Wi-Fi and panoramic mountain views. Few offices can compete with that setting.

Comfortable Accommodation

Our Utsikten and Stølen apartments offer generous space, fully equipped kitchens and everything you need for a comfortable mountain stay.

Made beds, towels and final cleaning are included in your stay.

Restaurant, Events and Catering

While the restaurant remains closed during the summer season, we welcome enquiries for private groups, special occasions and events. From August, we also offer catering services.

The restaurant reopens on Friday, 25 September, and will remain open throughout the autumn holiday period before continuing with weekend service leading up to the winter season.

Looking for a Little Extra Relaxation?

If you would like to enjoy a spa experience during your stay, there are a couple of great options nearby. There are also a few local venues for breakfast, lunch, and dinner just a short drive away.

Exclusive Omakase Experience

Book a minimum of six seats and enjoy a private Omakase experience with the restaurant exclusively reserved for your group.

Our sushi chefs are available for bookings from August and throughout the autumn season, with a minimum notice period of one week.
