This is a private, mountain-style apartment with well-equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own meals.Skigaarden 8-1 is a bright and welcoming apartment, perfectly suited for families or smaller group. With 80 sqm of space, two comfortable bedrooms and a practical sofa bed in the hallway/TV room, the apartment sleeps up to six guests.

You’ll find two modern bathrooms, an additional WC, and a fully equipped kitchen that makes it easy to enjoy meals together after a day outdoors. The living area opens onto a 10 sqm balcony, where you can take in the fresh mountain air. A private sports storage room of 15 sqm is located directly opposite the entrance, giving you plenty of room for skis and equipment. One parking space in our underground garage is included.

And when you’re ready for a change of pace, we warmly welcome you to the Main House, where our restaurant are located. Indulge in a refined dinner at our à la carte restaurant Storstugu, or savor an unforgettable Omakase evening paired with a carefully curated wine selection.

Start your day – or round off your ski session – with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee in our cozy café and what just might be Hemsedal’s best waffle, served alongside.

Important information about access and facilities

We would like to inform you that Skigaarden is a development project, and that two new buildings will be constructed behind Skigaarden 8.

At present, the shortest ski-in/ski-out access is via a temporary route through a snow-covered area behind the building. The route is open and clearly visible, and the pedestrian zone is cordoned off to ensure safe passage. It takes approximately 2 minutes to reach the nearest ski run (run 18), with access from both the 1st and 2nd floors.

An alternative route to the restaurants in the Main House is via the parking garage (approximately a 5-minute walk).

Due to the access conditions, Skigaarden 8 is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility. For families with small children, the access may also feel more demanding. For these guests, we recommend the Utsikten or Storgaarden 2 apartments, which offer easier access to both the ski runs and the restaurants in the Main House.

The windows facing the rear of the building overlook an area designated for future development, as well as mountain terrain. Skigaarden 9 is currently under construction along the ski run (interior works during the winter season).

That said, the apartment enjoys a fantastic location high up on one of Hemsedal’s finest slopes, with excellent sun exposure and close proximity to the ski runs. The apartment is modern, spacious, and well designed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
