Skigaarden has continued this tradition of making sure that guests are as comfortable as possible.Our apartment complex Utsikten, is a good place to come home to after being outside for the day. It is situated in our main building, so you have inhouse access to all our restaurants.

You also have underground parking, free wifi and instant access to the slopes. So just relax, and welcome to a top-class stay.

RUSTIC CHARM

Like all our appartments, Utsikten 1 is a good mix of rustic mountain charm, combined with modern amenities. It welcomes you into a generous hallway, perfect for keeping all your skiwear.The open livingroom/kitchen area offers a generous dinner table, perfect for socialising with friends, eating a takeaway pizza from our kitchen, or playing cards with your kids. It has a cosy sofa seating, and a kitchen corner with all equipment necessary for a stay at Skigaarden. Outside, there is a veranda that is ski in/ski out, with spectacular view over the mountains.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The two others have comfy bunk beds and a shared bathroom. The interior is a first-class combination of traditional Norwegian and modern styles. Lean back and rest your eyes on the mighty Hemsedal mountains on the other side of the valley.

CLOSE TO NATURE

It is finally the weekend, and finally, you and your partner will travel to Hemsedal to ski Holdeskaret and inwards towards Flævatn. The sun shines and the snow says blue. You are more than ready for extra fine skiing in Norwegian high mountains. Take off on newly prepared trails. Feel the silence and breathe pristine air. Sit down with a cup of coffee and something freshly baked from Skigaarden. Afterwards, a delicious two-course dinner awaits you at Storstugu.

Skigaarden lies at the entrance of a open mountain area, Holdeskaret. Here you will find many miles of crosscountrytrails, one of the most visited is Beihovdløypa. It is a lovely tour, with a charming café on the way, perfect for a "vaffelpause"( ask a Norvegian)!
