A TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Stølen was the place the farmers went to in the summer, high up in the mountains, so the animals could roam free and enjoy the fantastic weather and the green grass. Our Stølen is one of these old houses, carefully taken down and reassembled, so you have your own little lodge in the middle of whole Skigaarden, and therefore are right in the middle of the slopes.

It has been carefully modernized, so living here means having all the amenities of today, but with all the charm of the old. Perfect if you really want something different for your holiday, maybe you want to surprise your spouse, or have a little mini-honeymoon, maybe your parents deserve a special gift? Or just want to pamper yourself?

You live 66 steps from Skigaarden Main House, your car is safely parked in the underground garage, and everything is done to make sure you have an easy and carefree stay. Welcome to Stølen!

GENUINE NORWEGIAN CHARM

You enter into a welcoming hallway, before you come into the living room in this cosy cottage. It has an open plan living, with a kitchen sufficient for your stay, a cosy tv-snug, and a generous dinnertable. The table is cut from a single oaktree, and is made by our carpenters, perfect for a tasty dinner, or a game of cards. The master bedroom has a king size bed, with a view directly into the slopes. Have a sleep in, and you will have the sun waking you up! The other bedroom has comfy bunkbeds. Bed linens and towels are always included in your stay.There is a goodsized bathroom, fitted with everything you need for a stay in Stølen.

Outside, you have your own spacious terasse, perfect for a glass of wine after a day in the sun. You will have frontrow seats to watch the bustling afterski on Skigaardens outside, and can join anytime you want.

Living in Stølen means living in your own private little world, but with all the comfort of living in a fabulous ski resort!
