Guests visiting farms in Norway were traditionally offered the best of what was available. Skigaarden has continued this tradition of making sure that guests are as comfortable as possible.Our apartment complex Utsikten, is a good place to come home to after being outside for the day. It is situated in our main building, so you have inhouse access to all our restaurants.

You also have underground parking, free wifi and instant access to the slopes. So just relax, and welcome to a top-class stay.

COSY AND COMFORTABLE

Like all our appartments, Utsikten 5 is a good mix of rustic mountain charm, combined with modern amenities. You come in to a big entrance hall, perfect for keeping your outside gear. The open livingroom/kitchen area offers a generous dinner table, perfect for socialising with friends, eating a takeaway pizza from our kitchen, or playing cards with your kids. It has a cosy sofa area, and a kitchen corner with all equipment necessary for a stay at Skigaarden. Outside, there is a goodsized veranda, with spectacular view over the mountains.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The two others have comfy bunk beds and a shared bathroom. The interior is a first-class combination of traditional Norwegian and modern styles. Lean back and rest your eyes on the mighty Hemsedal mountains on the other side of the valley.

ADVENTUROUS HEMSEDAL

Imagine waking up one winter morning, wandering into the main room to see the Hemsedal mountains, bathed in the red light of a winter morning’s sun. Magnificent and gorgeous at the same time. Thoughts wander to beautifully cut turns on the alpine slope together with the family. A new day of new adventures awaits. You smile... Indeed, Skigaarden is relaxing. Today, dog sledding on Skogshorn!

At the far right end of the mountains oppsite you, lies Skogshorn, one of Hemsedal's most popular mountains( 1728moh). In the winter, it is an excellent randonnéespot, in the summer, it is a much visited hikingtrail. The view from the top is spectacular, well worth the job!
